There’s a new look for the proposed pedestrian bridge over Granite Street near the intersection with Commercial Street in Manchester.

It was updated after public feedback that included widening the bridge and the ramps leading up to it.

There are green arches designed to look like the Notre Dame bridge, which spanned the Merrimack for more than 50 years.

It’s part of a $30 million project to improve infrastructure across the city called Raise Manchester.

About $25 million comes from a federal grant, and $5 million is from the city.
